the Hammer.
2003: 3rd at US Nationals
2002: 2nd at the US Outdoor Nationals. Was injured in the second
half of the season and had surgery on her knees.
2001: US Indoor WT Champion; Won Millrose;
US Outdoor Champion in HT; 2nd in Paris Grand Prix; 4th at Grand Prix
Final in Melbourne, Australia. Ranked 7th in the World and 1st in
the US.
2000: 7th at Olympics; Set American Record
in HT at 70.46m; Won the US Olympic Trials; Set the American Indoor
record for the WT 5 times and winning the US indoor title. Ranked
7thin the world and 1st in the US in the HT.
1999: 1st at the US indoor and Outdoor National
Championships; Won the Pan-Am Games; 10th at the World Championships;
4th at the World University Games; Ranked 7th in the World and 1st
in the US.
1998: 1st US Indoor WT; 1st US Outdoor Championships;
6th at Goodwill Games.
1997: 1st US Outdoor Championships in the
HT and was 8th in the shot put; 1st at NCAA WT and HT; 1st at the
SEC Championships in the WT and 3rd in the SP; 6th at the World University
Games; Ranked 1st in the US in the HT and 10th in the SP.
1996: 1st US Outdoor Championships; 1st US
Indoor Championships WT; 1st NCAA Championship HT; 11th at NCAA in
SP and 13th in DT; Won NCAA Indoor WT and SEC Indoor Championships;
Ranked 1st in the HT in the US.
